This is the 46 m radio telescope at Algonquin park. See that cylinder at the focal point; it houses the low noise amplifier and antenna transducer.

Radio Telescope pioneer Grote Reber W9GFZ (SK); Ham radio operator built 1st radio telescope in his backyard and mapped the sky finding evidence of black holes.
